Innovative Computing Corporation® is pleased to announce that our Innovative Enterprise Software® has been adjusted for the new Canadian Hours of Service. These 70 and 120-Hour Rule Changes took effect on January 1, 2007.

Innovative Computing Corporation® is pleased to announce that our IES® R5, R6, R7 and R8 software has been adjusted for the federally mandated Hours of Service changes, which took effect in January 2004.

Innovative customers wishing to upgrade the IES interface to QUALCOMM 5.2 should call 1-800-238-1763 and request the upgrade. Project Management will contact you for installation scheduling.

In you are experiencing problem with Quebec mileage and Rand McNally Version 18, please contact Rand McNally Technical Support at 1-800-234-4069 ext. 6968 for a PTF.

Innovative has completed testing on Rand McNally Version 19 for use with our IES®, IES Access® and Access Plus® systems. The interfaces from IES to Rand McNally Guide 19 Stored and OnDemand have been approved by our Quality Assurance department.

An IES interface update for the Guide 19 OnDemand is required, but no update is required for Guide 19 Stored. Customers wishing to upgrade to Rand McNally Mileage Guide 19 OnDemand should submit a project request via our Customer Resources Site. We will be contacting our customers who have requested this update on January 30, 2008 to install the update.

Customers may call our Project Management team at 800-411-2109 with any questions. Customers needing assistance with switching to the new mileage guide should contact Innovative's Customer Service department by e-mail or phone at 800-238-3895.

Innovative announces an enhancement to the Administration and Payroll modules in compliance with the Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001. This Act mandates that employers update limits and contribution increases for retirement provisions established by the Act.

The issues that have been addressed in accordance with the Act and that are included in this enhancement are:
Only employees who are at or above the age indicated can make catch-up contributions
Limits are subject to cost-of-living increases at the beginning of each year. The user must update these limits manually.
No changes have been made to Canadian Payroll.
Users must set up benefit deduction codes.

This enhancement is now available to all customers on R7V01, R6, and R5. As a current customer on Software Maintenance this enhancement is available at no charge.

To schedule this enhancement to your current IES® R7V01 software, please call Software Support at 1-800-238-1762 or e-mail. You will be assigned a case number and you will be notified of scheduling by Project Management.

The US government is currently preparing to mandate the use of Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel in 2007 trucks. Information on this mandate can be found on the EPA Web Site.

As a result of this mandate, fuel vendors currently are adding new codes to their system for the processing of related fuel transactions. These vendors include all providers interfaced with Innovative Computing Corporation's FlexFuel® module.

Any Innovative customers using FlexFuel to process Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel transactions will need to have their software updated before using the new codes. This is regardless of the interfaced fuel vendor(s).

Currently Innovative is also in the process of updating our software for these new codes. If you will need to update your system, please complete Innovative's Update Form to request an update. Updates will be completed as they become available. Contact Innovative's Project Management Team with any additional questions.

Special Note Regarding Fuel Codes and the Year End Update

In addition to fuel code updates, Innovative is also in the process of updating the Year End Module of IES, Access and Access Plus for 2006 Year End changes. In order to streamline these updates, Innovative has chosen to include the default fuel code data for all FlexFuel customers on R8 or later versions of IES, Access or Access Plus during the Year End updates. This update will be completed for all customers requesting the Year End update.

Please note the following:

Customers on previous versions of IES will need to request the fuel code update separately via this update request form Innovative's Update Request Form.
Customers not planning to receive the Year End update, but still requiring the fuel code update will need to request the fuel code update via the Update Request Form.
Comdata has made recent changes that require an additional Innovative update included in the Fuel Code and Year End update. Comdata fuel customers should request this update via the Update Request Form.
