Innovative Computing Corporation offers Classroom Training in our Brentwood, TN training center on a variety of Innovative Enterprise Software® modules and topics. These classes are offered to all Innovative Support Subscribers and are designed for the needs of today's truckload carrier. Custom onsite training is also available.

ADMINISTRATION CLASS

Length of Class:  4 days
Class Code:   ADM

Purpose of Course:
Through group and individual exercises, each student will learn the most efficient and effective way to manage their business, process data and utilize the results as information for decision-making. Each student will also learn daily, weekly, and monthly processing steps. In addition, students will receive tips to make them more productive users of the software.

What Attendees Will Learn:
Each student will receive training on the functionality and flow of the Administration module. The class will also cover an overview of the Operations module, Rating and Billing and Computerized Rating. Each student will receive training on the processes of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger. In addition, the class will cover the Master Files affecting the administration modules.

Prerequisites:
Prior to attending, students should review the IES User's Guides that pertain to this topic until they become familiar with the basics of the software. These User's Guides are available on Innovative's Customer Resources Site and your User's Guide CD.

OPERATIONS-DISPATCH CLASS

Length of Class:  4 days
Class Code:   DSP

Purpose of Course:
Provides operations personnel with the most efficient and effective methods available to do their job.

What Attendees Will Learn:
The Operations-Dispatch course provides extensive hands-on practice primarily for the Dispatch portion of the Operations module. There will be in-depth training on Coding Schemes, Order Entry, Order Comments, Dispatch, Pre-plan and Check Calls. In addition, the class will cover Customer, Driver and Equipment Master Files. Operations Report samples will be given to students, and some samples will be reviewed during the course. Students will learn basic training on Trip Leasing and LTL (multiple orders). This course consists of many scenarios for equipment failure, re-consigning a load before or after dispatch, assigning wrong equipment and many other "real life" scenarios.

MAINTENANCE / FLEETRX® CLASS

Length of Class:  4 days
Class Code:   FLTRX

Purpose of Course:
Provide maintenance personnel with extensive training on the setup and functionality of the Maintenance module FleetRx (formerly Fleet Assistant/400).

What Attendees Will Learn:
Students will be taught how to setup Master Files that are required for implementation of the system. Students will also receive training on Preventive Maintenance, Purchase Orders, Warranty Tracking, Repair Orders and Costing. Additionally, there will be individual exercises on the daily functions of the Maintenance module.

Prerequisites:
Prior to attending, the student should review the FleetRx Maintenance User's Guide. This User's Guide is available on Innovative's Customer Resources Site and User's Guide CD. The student should have inventory industry knowledge and keyboard experience.

PAYROLL & SETTLEMENT PROCESSING

Length of Class:  4 days
Class Code:   PR

Purpose of Course:
Provides instruction on how to address the special payroll requirements companies may have. This class will also train payroll personnel to implement and run Payroll and Settlements with confidence.

What Attendees Will Learn:
This course covers Master Files, implementation procedures and weekly processing involved with the Payroll, Trips, Carrier Settlements and Operator Settlements modules. Students will be instructed on how to setup a Trip Pay Matrix, Employee Master, Payroll Run Groups, Benefit Packages and Deductions, Reimbursements and Deductions, Pay Rates, Federal and State Tax Withholdings and owner/operator Escrow Accounts.

Prerequisites:
Prior to attending, students should review the IES User's Guides that pertain to this topic until they become familiar with the basics of the software. These User's Guides are available on Innovative's Customer Resources Site and your User's Guide CD.

Provides instruction on how to track driver recruiting activity and trains recruiting personnel to implement and run Driver Acquisition with confidence.

What Attendees Will Learn:
This course covers Master Files, implementation procedures and daily processing involved with the Driver Acquisition module. Students will be instructed on how to setup Company Security, Driver Acquisition Control Defaults and Driver Acquisition Codes.

This course covers Master Files, implementation procedures and daily processing involved with the Risk Management, Safety, Liability, Worker Compensation and Cargo Claim modules. Students will be instructed on how to setup Company Security, Safety Control Defaults, Safety Codes, Workers' Compensation Codes and Cargo Claim Codes.

Year End

Length of Class:  1 hour (On Line Webinar)
Class Code:   YE

Purpose of Course:
Through this online seminar, students will learn the steps needed for the 2007 year end close and administrative steps needed to prepare for 2008.

What Attendees Will Learn:
Each student will receive a basic understanding of the 2007 Government changes for W2 and 1099 forms. During this online training seminar, students will also learn how to process 2007 W2 & 1099 forms using the tools in Innovative Enterprise Software®. In addition, students will be taught important steps needed to prepare for 2008.

Prerequisites:
Prior to attending, students should review the IES® User's Guides that pertain to this topic until they become familiar with the basics of the software. The Year End What's New Guide, Instructions and Checklists are also recommended. Updated versions of these Guides are available on Innovative's Customer Resources Site.

Who to Send:
Innovative suggests that companies using IES, IES Access® or IES Access Plus® for payroll taxes or settlements send their staff members responsible for W2 & 1099 processing.

EDI

Length of Class:  2 days
Class Code:   400 EDI

Purpose of Course:
Provides instruction on the special requirements of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).

What Attendees Will Learn:
Students will receive instruction on the use and processes of the Innovative Enterprise Software® and vendor interfaces. This course includes coverage of EDI transaction sets, the auditing and releasing of EDI freight bills and shipment statuses, receiving order information via EDI and how to generate orders in the Innovative Enterprise Software based on this information. In addition, the EDI setup conditions and options will be covered to familiarize the users with the EDI system implementation. A section of this course is dedicated to sending and receiving electronic transactions and the reports that are generated. In addition, the functions of the mailbox, network ID, sender and receiver IDs, communication status and purging old transmissions will be covered. The class will explain the flow of data between the Innovative Enterprise Software and vendor interfaces.

Prerequisites:
The student should have knowledge of Operations and Rating and Billing and the ability to use Order Entry, Dispatch, Check Call and rate a freight bill. The student should refer to the EDI User's Guide and become familiar with it. This User's Guide is available on Innovative's Customer Resources Site and your User's Guide CD.

LOADCENTRAL® CLASS (WEB)

Length of Class:  3 Hours (Web-Based)
Class Code:   LC

Purpose of Course:
This LoadCentral training session is performed via on-line web-based training in a three hour session. Each attendee will become proficient in the use of the LoadCentral application for immediate use.

What Attendees Will Learn:
Each class comprises of a three hour session that will be segmented into one-hour topics covering LoadCentral Administration, LoadCentral Load Posting, and LoadCentral Truck Posting.

Prerequisites:
Each participant should be familiar with the load planning and dispatch functions in operations or the Logistics module usually used in a separate Brokerage Division prior to attending. Students should also review the datasheet as a quick overview reference tool. Please download this document from the Customer Resources Site or request it by e-mail from Innovative's customer service or sales.

Who to Send:
We recommend attendance by all active participants in load planning that offer loads to other company operations (Brokerage). LoadCentral customers should attend the full three hour session. The Administration portion of our training can be skipped by basic operators and users.

LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT

Length of Class:  2 days
Class Code:   LG

Purpose of Course:
Provides instruction on the Logistics Management module. This course will be helpful to existing customers who are adding the Logistics module to their system, as well as to new customers.

What Attendees Will Learn:
Students will receive instruction on the use of Logistics Management to record and manage information for outside carriers that they contract to haul freight. The class will cover proper procedures for Order Entry, Dispatch and Check Call by carrier, as well as Equipment Offering and Negotiation features.

Prerequisites:
Prior to attending, the student should have working knowledge of Operations (either from experience or attending the Operations- Dispatch course). Attendees should refer to the Logistics Management/Carrier Settlements User's Guide and become familiar with it. This User's Guide is available on Innovative's Customer Resources Site and your User's Guide CD.

Innovative suggests that companies send the project coordinator and operations personnel who will be using these programs.

ROUTING & FUEL TAX

Length of Class:  2 days
Class Code:   FT

Purpose of Course:
Provides hands-on experience for establishing and storing routes and detailed instructions on the steps for Routing and Fuel Tax Processing.

What Attendees Will Learn:
The Routing segment of the course covers how to setup and maintain the cities file and customize pickup areas. Students will also learn how to establish Route Miles and Tariff Mile files. During the Fuel Tax segment of the course, the class will cover setting up the pertinent Master Files and implementation procedures that are necessary for utilizing the system. Students will learn how to process fuel tickets and the different methods available for performing this function. Students will be instructed on daily, monthly, quarterly and year-end procedures for Fuel Tax Reporting. In addition, the class will cover fuel tax charge backs to owner/operators and Licensing and Permits.
