INNOVATIVE SYSTEM ENHANCED TO IMPROVE DRIVER RETENTION

Brentwood, TN — June 6, 2005

Innovative Computing Corporation announces the success of a recent Load Offering enhancement to the dispatch and driver management elements of its Innovative IES®. This element works by offering motor carriers the opportunity to pre-plan and offer multiple loads to their drivers, which in turn has a substantial impact on driver satisfaction and retention.

"Customers using this feature find that their drivers feel better about having some control over their lives and that the company they drive for cares enough to give them the options," says Mark Greenwood, Innovative President. "What we now have done is empower our customers to enable the Load Offering feature to individual drivers, instead of having to do so on a fleet wide basis. This increased flexibility means fleets can use Load Offering as a reward within a driver incentive program, even if given the nature of their operations, they might not want or be able to offer it to all drivers."

As the use of Load Offering grows, evidence continues to develop demonstrating the relationship between a driver's ability to choose loads and the effect on driver turnover. "The Innovative 'Load Offering' capability has helped our drivers and their relationship with our driver managers by improving the sense that drivers have some control over their destiny," says Robert Kretsinger, Senior VP at American Central Transport. "This is something that is seen as a real benefit of driving for American Central Transport and helps keep our driver turnover under control."

Innovative's Load Offering enables drivers to choose loads from up to three different options as part of the dispatch process. Once a driver selects a load, the other two loads return to the carrier's Available Loads in a timely manner so that the loads are immediately available to other drivers.

"We agree with everyone else, that there is no single silver bullet capable of solving the turnover problem," says Greenwood, "but based on feedback from customers using Load Offering, we see this as a positive driver retention tool. It works."

Load Offering is a feature available to Innovative customers running either their own Innovative IES® system or using Innovative's extremely popular Internet based Innovative Access Plus® and Innovative Access® platforms. Load Offering by Driver is available to current Innovative customers on Releases 7 or 8.
