ASP SYSTEM TOPS 5,000 TRUCKS DISPATCHED

Brentwood, TN — February 8, 2006

Innovative Computing Corporation today announced that they reached a new milestone in their 37 years of providing services to the truckload carrier industry when the 5,000th truck began operations via their Internet based software systems IES Access® and IES Access Plus®.

Today Innovative serves carriers ranging in size from less than 10 trucks to well over 10,000. Innovative's Access system, for example, is now serving carriers with between 9 and 47 trucks with an average truck count of 23 trucks per carrier. Access Plus on the other hand, serves a base of carriers with slightly larger truck counts ranging to more than 400 trucks with an average of 97 trucks per carrier.

"This means that not only is Innovative still serving the biggest carriers in the industry, something we've always been known for, but that we are also truly serving the smallest carriers with the same quality of software and services that our larger carriers have grown to expect," said Innovative CEO, Ernie Betancourt. "Not only is our customer base broad, but by dispatching over 5,000 trucks and 112,000 loads in one month, our ASP system is today dispatching a combined truck base comparable to that of a top ten North American truckload carrier."

Based experience gained while serving the trucking industry, Innovative has harnessed the power of the IBM System i™ for the largest carriers in the industry through the IES®. In 1999, Innovative made the decision to broaden their reach by using the Internet to make the IBM System i™ available to a wider spectrum of carriers through the inception of their Internet based IES Access system. More recently, Innovative took this Internet option to the next level by offering their full IES system to their Internet customers via the IES Access Plus system.

Betancourt continued by saying, "We believe that the combination of large and small carriers drives this industry. It is not only impossible, but also unrealistic for any software provider not to serve the needs of all sizes of carriers. As an active customer of Innovative, Howard Parker, who is the Operations Manager of the 40-truck, Benton, Missouri based Ohio Pacific Express, has experienced the benefit of Innovative's ASP model. "Today's transportation requirements are on a historically evolutionary phase making it more complex to provide traditional services and be proficient in the ability to evolve for the future by providing supplementary services" said Parker. When asked what was growing the ASP base for Innovative, Betancourt pointed to the acquisition of new customers as well as the conversion of several existing Innovative customers from their Host system to the ASP.

"It's not uncommon for us to see many of our mid size carriers making the move from Host systems to Internet systems today," said Betancourt. "By accessing IES via the Internet, our carriers are finding that they can comfortably rely on Innovative for system and hardware security, system mirrors and backups and general maintenance. While some carriers need or want the option to manage their own system, others find the ability to outsource hardware and system maintenance to be a relief to their staff. We serve both audiences by offering Host and ASP systems. It's a win-win situation for all."

Once such customer who has made the change from a Host IES system to an Internet based one is J. H. Walker. This 130-truck, Houston fleet, while being an Innovative customer for 19 years, made the conversion from the Host based version of Innovative Enterprise Software to Innovative's Internet based Access Plus system in 2004.
